Restaurant
We were excited to hear of the new management of a restaurant here in Gahanna. The new owners had the experience and knowledge to handle the restaurant side of things, but needed some assistance when it came to the business side. We setup Quickbooks accounts for them and managed their bill payments, tax/payroll reporting, and cash management. Once a week we pickup the sales receipts, the bills to be paid, and other incoming paperwork. We track their sales and expenses, pay the bills, and prepare any forms or reports. When we return the information we review their sales figures, their expenses, and the general financial statements. With the right information, they're able to see where they're doing well, and how they can continuously improve their costs and operations.
Computer Consulting
When we met this owner he had just moved his business from his garage into new office space. He was missing income because he didn't have a way to track his inventory, his customers, and most importantly, his customer payments. In fact, there were times when customers didn't even get billed. We worked with him to develop an inventory process, and an account receivable process, and even organized and paid his monthly bills and accounts. When he hired additional computer technicians we restructured the tracking of his hours to encourage billable hours, and reward employee performance. He was able to focus on new clients and true consulting, while we managed the business details – including monthly reviews of financial reports.
Free/Low-Cost Online Marketing
With more and more people turning to the internet to look for businesses, restaurants, and shops we're able to setup our clients to stand out during internet searches. Many people don't take advantage of the free listing services so we're able to give our clients an edge over those that don't. (Even for those who don't even have a website!) There are also low cost marketing strategies that can target specific cities and regions, and specific key words and search terms, to make sure they reach as many potential customers as possible. We even monitor email accounts for some clients who 'aren't into the computer thing' and pass on customer inquiries and contacts for follow-up.
